A New Blog

I've decided to create a new blog. My wonderful husband designed this blog himself and I've loved it. But since it's custom made I couldn't do alot of the cool features I've seen on other blogs. Plus I really wanted to go private and I couldn't seem to do that on this blog. So, as sad as it is, I've started a new one. Oh and I've actually created a different one from a couple of days ago. So if you've already been invited once, check your email again for another invitation. I made a mistake on the first one and had to start over. The address is katiendallin@blogspot.com. If you haven't gotten an invitation please leave a comment or email me your email address. Thanks!!!

Lunch with Miriam

A couple of days ago I met up with one of my good Bakersfield friends, Miriam. She had her little boy a couple weeks after I did so it's really fun to get together with her and have our boys play. Her little boy is really into pulling socks off of other babies and Nathan was really into stealing his pacifier out of his mouth. Other then that they just stared at each other alot. It was a lot of fun for the mommys though :) It's nice to get out of the house and see a friend. I actually didn't bring my camera so these pictures are off of Miriam's blog. So if you also follow Miriams these are the exact same pictures. I wish we had gotten one of us together though. Maybe next time :)

Canon Pictures

So my dad is really into photography. He has taken my wedding pictures, family pictures, and tons of each of his grand kids. He recently bought the new updatedCanon. Which was great for my sister and I because he gave his old camera to tamra, and she in turn gave her old canon to me. So I now own a Canon Rebel and two lenses. I currently know basically nothing about photography, but I'm going to get some books from the library on it and maybe take a course over the summer. I would love to learn more about photography so that I could take amazing pictures of my children and family some day. Here are a few pictures that I've taken with my new camera. Mostly practice shots andOF COURSE they are of my darling boy Nathan. Enjoy!

My dad was in town last month and bought Nathan this cute Old Navy outfit. It was really funny because this is the kind of outfit I could see his daddy wearing :)

I always thought the pictures where part of the subjects are out of focus were really cool. This picture is me trying out that technique

One of my favorites. Daddy actually took this one :) Such a cutie

Another eight month photo that I took with this camera...the other one was my old camera. I like this one because you can see his toothy grin. He's actually teething again right now. He's quite fussy about it!! Now I know what Kori and Kevin meant when they said Isaac was broken. Nathan sure seems like he's broken!! But hopefully it will be worth it when his next month photo has bottom and top teeth to add to his smile :)

Nathan's First Christmas 2008

Here is Nathan standing beside his santa present. We bought this for him with the money my grandpa sent him. Thank you Great Grandpa!!

Smiling with Grandma!!
Already a Mozart :) performing for Grandma and Grandpa. With special thanks to Grammy for buying him this piano. He loves it!!!

Its Been Awhile

So right before Thanksgiving my memory card adapter was misplaced. And so for the past three months or so I wasn't able to upload any pictures from my camera. But my wonderful hubby found the adapter today !!! So I was finally able to update my blog. I actually still have tons of pictures still to post, but those will have to wait. I recently got a new Canon Rebel from my sister and have taken quite a few pictures on that. However, I need to buy a USB cord for it so those will have to wait. And I have tons from Christmas, but I need to get them off my sister inlaws computer. But for now you can enjoy the ones that I was able to upload. These were taken today so you can get a feel for how he has grown and changed. He is now eight months old, wieghs 19 pounds, and is around 28 inches long. He sits up perfectly now, scoots around the place, and is begining to be able to pull himself up. He is growing and changing so fast!!

Seven Months

My mom and dad bought him this sweet little tie. It looks so cute on him and he loves to eat it during church :) So cute!!

Grandma Time

Dallin's parents came to visit for Christmas. Nathan loved them so much and had tons of fun with them. Here is Grandma feeding him some yummy dinner. Nathan is a typical Low baby, LOVES to eat :)

Our First Christmas Tree

Since we finally are living in a place with space, we decided to buy our first christmas tree. We had alot of fun picking it out and setting it up. I guess I didn't take any pictures of the tree decorated though :( Oh well, you'll have to take my word for it that it was very pretty.

Trip to Colorado Zoo

Right before Christmas I took Nathan to Denver, Colorado to visit my wonderful sister and her family. My mom also came to visit and we had a really week together. One of the things we did was go to the Denver zoo. They had it all decorated for Christmas. We had a wonderful time. Nathan especially loved it!! We were freezing to death but he was snug as a bug and was all smiles the whole time.

This is actually Nathan right before our trip to California for Thanksgiving. It was like five or so in the morning and he was not happy to be woken up. But I still got him to smile for the picture

This was us on the plane traveling home from Denver. He had a very good flight. Nathan got his own seat and slept the entire way :)
